On April 6, 2024, Chinese Ambassador to Samoa Fei Mingxing paid a visit to Manono Island, the third largest island in Samoa. Ambassador Fei and entourage were warmly welcomed by Hon. Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Au'uapaau Mulipola Aloitafua, the chiefs and villagers on the island. 

The Samoa-China Agriculture Technical Aid Project expert made presentations on family farming, and the Chinese Medical Team carried out consulting services to villagers the same day.
