Chinese Embassy in Samoa and Samoa Public Service Commission Co-host Exchange Meeting for Participants of Training Programs in China

On October 23, the Chinese Embassy in Samoaand the Samoa Public Service Commission co-hosted an exchange meeting for Samoan participants of training programs in China. Secretary of the Samoa Public Service Commission Kolone Tikeri, a delegation led by Xu Yuanjie, deputy director-general of department of outward investment and economic cooperation of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, and first secretary of the Embassy Gou Fei attended the meeting.

The participants engaged in in-depth discussions on further strengthening education and training cooperation to support Samoa's continuous advancement in economic and social development as well as climate change response capabilities. Kolone expressed appreciation for the valuable training opportunities provided by China and conveyed hope for further advancing bilateral human resources cooperation in the future.

The trainees actively shared their experiences of exchange programs in China, pledging to strive to apply their acquired knowledge to better serve the people of Samoa.
