On November 3, 2025, Chinese Ambassador to Samoa Fei Mingxing attended the "Jiangsu Night" in the Embassy. Among 80 attendees were the visiting Chairwoman of Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Zhang Yizhen, Honorable Minister of Education and Culture Aiono Alec Ekeroma, Honorable Minister of Revenue Pauga Talalelei Pauga and representatives from various sectors of Samoa.

Ambassador Fei highlighted the spirits of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the great achievements of China's modernization, highly praised the fruitful results of the 50 years of cooperation since the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Samoa, and expressed China's willingness to work hand in hand with Samoa to promote the relations between the two countries to a new height.

Chairwoman Zhang stated that Jiangsu Province would strengthen cooperation with Samoa in education, culture, agriculture and other fields, continuously promoting practical cooperation.

Minister Aiono acknowledged China for its assistance and expressed willingness for further deepening the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Representatives of Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Taizhou gave the thematic presentations respectively. A joint cultural performance by Chinese and Samoan artists was also presented.
