Wife of Chinese Ambassador to Samoa Li Wenjun Visits ADRA Samoa

On March 6, wife of the Chinese Ambassador to Samoa Mrs Li Wenjun led female staff members of the Embassy to visit ADRA Samoa, and held a discussion with the management of the organization.

Ms Vui Tolilau Tala Pereira, the Country Director of ADRA extended a warm welcome to the visitors. She briefed them on the organizational structure and major relief programs carried out locally by the institution, expressed gratitude to the Chinese side for its assistance and support for the development of Samoas grassroots communities, and hoped that the two sides could further explore cooperation opportunities in disaster prevention and mitigation, health and sanitation, community empowerment and others.

Mrs Li Wenjun noted that the friendship between China and Samoa has a long-standing history. The Chinese Embassy in Samoa stands ready to work hand in hand with ADRA Samoa to jointly boost the development of Samoas grassroots communities, and contribute to building a closer China-Samoa community with a shared future.

She also extended sincere International Womens Day greetings to  women friends in Samoa.
