Wife of Chinese Ambassador to Samoa Li Wenjun Visits SVSG Samoa
On May 20, wife of the Chinese Ambassador to Samoa Mrs Li Wenjun and female staff members of the Embassy visited SVSG Samoa. They donated supplies on behalf of the embassy, talked with SVSG members and toured in the Nofotane Store.
Ms Siliniu Lina Chang, President of SVSG extended a warm welcome to the visitors. She briefed them on the organizational structure and The Nofotane Woman Program especially, expressed gratitude to the Chinese Embassy for its assistance, hoped that the two sides could further explore cooperation opportunities.
Mrs Li Wenjun noted that the friendship between China and Samoa has a long-standing history. The Chinese Embassy in Samoa stands ready to work with SVSG Samoa to jointly boost the Samoan cause of women and children and contribute to building a closer China-Samoa community with a shared future.
